This desalination plant can be used both in domestic, home conditions, in warm weather, and on an industrial scale for the production of drinking water or distilled water by purchasing the necessary components for production. For example, one or more freezers can be installed in an enterprise, and several glass domes with pallets can be installed on one freezer. For more profitable production of distilled water. Which can then be turned into drinking water with the help of a special additive "Severyanka" (
Website).
Elements of a small desalination plant.
Dome. It is made of glass from a solid mold. Two holes on the sides are drilled using a drill with a special head for working with glass. Rubber bushings with glass slots are put on the holes to secure the tube on one side and the stopper on the other.
Metal pallet. It consists of 4 metal corners welded together and screwed a thin sheet of black metal with a rubber gasket under the corners. There is also a rubber gasket between the dome and the pallet. This gasket is inserted into the pallet and the dome is put on a pallet with a rubber gasket.
Over time, when sea water evaporates, salt will form in the dome with a pallet, which will have to be raked out so that the metal can heat up normally under the rays of the Sun. To do this, drain or evaporate seawater, separate the pallet from the dome and pour salt into some container with a brush. It is better to dispose of this salt later or sell it. A sheet of even-numbered metal will also start to rust over time and it will have to be replaced with a new one, and the old one for recycling.

First, seawater is poured through the hole on the left side of the glass dome, opening the cork, to a certain level in the dome with a pallet. Then the sea water will begin to evaporate due to the temperature of the water heating from the Sun's rays, as well as heating the sheet metal from ferrous metal. The steam will go through the tube into the freezer. There it will turn back into water, but already distilled, cooled. Then this water can be drained through a tap from a container below the refrigerator.
If you need to make drinking water. Then you need to add the mixture "Severyanka" to the water in a certain proportion for a softer taste at your discretion. There are details on the website.
The scheme of the freezer, the same as that of a conventional refrigerator, this scheme can be viewed
on the following site.
Why I lowered the freezer and made it lower than the dome. This is because the sun's rays should cover more space around the dome. And the dome with a pallet should be placed on some shelves that will be higher than the freezer.
If someone needs to automate the production of water, then this is your initiative, I'm posting here only the idea of how to make such a desalination plant.
But I want to add that in this automated station there will be floats for adjusting the pumping of water and pumping into different tanks. This production is more relevant for coastal areas with seas or oceans, where there is a hot climate.
And, another desalination station can be made from a variety of closed 3-liter cans, turned upside down, for the place of the dome with a pallet. Put a piece of black metal on the lid of the jar. Or even make a longitudinal tube with black plates mounted on the lid of the jar. And it is possible without everything, one jar with a lid. All the same, the water will evaporate from the rays of the Sun. In the jar, make two holes on the sides against each other. We will pour water into one hole, water vapor will come out into the other. In the jar, install a float with the definition of coordinates in space. And pour water automatically through the valve if the seawater tank is suspended above the jar or the motor for distilling water if the tank is below the jar. The same 3-liter jar can act as a reservoir =), if anything. The rest of the principle of operation is the same as that of a small desalination plant. A converted air conditioner can act as a place for the freezer.
